92 Dental: Your Local Dentist: Why Choose Us?

We’d like to say a huge welcome back to all our patients, and the 92 Dental team hope everyone is keeping well in and good health. We don’t know about you, but we’re hugely grateful to see the horizon now, after what has been a testing time for everyone. It’s been fantastic welcoming patients back to the practice and we’re very much looking forward to some semblance of normality again after lockdown is over.

We thought now would be a great time to talk about what sets 92 Dental apart and how you can reach us if you’re visiting us for an appointment if you’re travelling from the Fulham, Kensington and Shepherd’s Bush areas of London. We love that our dental practice is a melting pot of team members and patients, from all over the City of London!

92 Dental: a dental practice at the heart of Hammersmith

During the pandemic, we’ve been extremely proud of how so many members of our community have supported one another here in Hammersmith. It’s wonderful to be open again and offering patients the support and treatment they need and deserve. Like all other areas of London, Hammersmith has its own intriguing history – for example, did you know it’s home to the first ever underground line? The Hammersmith and City line wasn’t just the first underground line in London, but in the world! Meanwhile, back in the 1880s, Hammersmith was home to Mahatma Gandhi, who studied law in London and lived on Baron’s Court Road. It’s possible that Gandhi may well have visited the UK’s smallest pub, as this would have been local to him in here in Hammersmith. Located a stone’s throw from the Thames, The Dove was built in the 18th century and poet James Thomson famously wrote the words ‘Rule Britannia’ at this extraordinary pub, over a pint.

As mentioned earlier in the blog, we serve the community here in Hammersmith but also look after patients from many different areas of London, including Shepherd’s Bush, Fulham and Kensington. Transport routes (bus and tube) from these areas are excellent – the closest tube stations to the practice are Hammersmith Station (0.3 miles) and Ravenscourt Park (0.3 miles).
